Week 4 Assignment

Using Google Docs to create a slideshow was not as bad as I had imagined. I was able to easily compose the slides and add photos and text. This would certainly be a useful tool in the classroom if it were used to post a student's work that could easily be viewed by the class and teacher. Also, embedding the presentation into a blog makes it easy to view without opening up seperate documents.

  1. Hey Emilia, nice slideshow! This process was also not as bad as I imagined. However, I am having difficulty viewing the embedded slideshow when I am "signed in" on my Google Blogger account - with all of our cohort's slideshows include mine? I think this would be a great way to post a student's work - which one one of the key points in a good teacher website!

  2. Emilia,
I really like the layout/theme you chose for your slideshow. The chalkboard is a great way to give it an "in class" feeling, even though we are obviously on the internet! The visuals you chose (especially the one in the first slide) are a great way to tie it together in a visually appealing manner, which is great since you will be looking to inspire future aesthetes in an art classroom!
